See it's tail wagging ... the dog thought it was a game. It would already be one very dead dog if it was anywhere near my place.
Cheers,

This sort of thing - without the cat, unfortunately - happens a bit around here, so we're pretty careful, but that dog wouldn't live to see the end of the day if I had my way.
At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.
Fantastic!Thats why I love my cats! yeah the dog was in attack mode alright, just looking for trouble!
That cat knows what to do and the dog got a helluva fright! The kid would have been in serious trouble without him though. And yes I have shot better dogs than that for less!
Cheers Scott
Good cat!
We had a dog that was attacked by our neighbours dog, the neighbours dog jumped over a 6 foot fence to get into our garden. By the time we'd got out into the garden three of our cats we're trying to help our dog out. They're often accused of being disloyal but I think cats know what side their bread is buttered on!
Dog must die, no ifs or buts, also the owner must be held responsible, what was it doing at large? Chances are the child may have died without the cat. The cat's interruption got the dog out of kill mode and it looks like it realized what it did and took off. The tail wagging's common, often pitbills wag their tails franticly in battle, meanwhile trying to kill their opponent.
Apparently the dog escaped from the neighbours. It was taken by animal control to be euthanised. Also reportedly only 8 months of age. Quite worrying for a dog that young to be that aggressive - often they're still in puppy mode.
Years ago I remember my parents cat, who had kittens at the time, latch onto the Nose of a German Shepherd foolish enough to wander into the front yard, drawing blood and chasing it off.
