Ahh the old "reverse kiss of death" trick:

Now its certain to a be a sunny, carefree trip

And before anyone says so - No I didn't get the kiss of life from him :!:

Damn! Only nearly roll. Maybe we should go and dig up the sand a little more....

Thumbs up If you blow a big hole in it

Mine got caught up on the towbar of my then Hilux. Tore a 4" rip in it.
I got it repaired at a place that repairs Zodiacs ( Blow up boats ).
That was a few years ago when I was living in Perth. Have used it since without any problems

I've used mine on the Suby several times. I've got the bushranger.

Got to get off my backside and sort out the problem of blocking the other exhaust pipe in the D3.

Not true Edd, when I did the OZ safari in 1992 in a RAngie, that was the only jack we took. refused the weak and too slow factory jack, and the weight of the HiLift was prohibitive for a race car. Never had any issues with the bull bag, and we had quite a few flats late in the event, in fact we had to buy a set of 'used' prototype race tyres that were being tested/ evaluated by 'a factory team' in the event, as we were nearly out of spares! The tyre company representative was interested to see how they lasted after a days use on one of their vehicles, and we had no problems at all with them.

    Anyway,I'll definately recommend exhaust jacks

yes and no... if you dont get them right under the axle and squared up they can roll out...

But its not that much of a problem, so long as you keep an eye on it..

people have mentioned putting tarps over em.. I use a proper canvas tarp with mine and some horse blankets.

Oh I got my current exhaust bag jack from Kmart and Its done everything Ive needed so far.

so what's everyones opinion on one of these rather than a highlift? Guess they could be used for recovery or pushing you off ledges etc. provided you had the protection on them... so are they good for other things other than sand?
