How about it?

I'm sure we could either get them to send us a load, or we could do our own AULRO version?

That's a great idea, I often wonder, as I see landys pass " is he on the forum?"

Love the sticker idea.

Perfect place for the sticker is obviously top of the windscreen where oncoming Defenders (umm, Landies of all sorts) can see it.

I've had some retrun waves from Rangies (usu lifted, kitted out ones) and from Discos (snorkeled and probably used off-raod ones) and WAY more than a fair share of 'what the hell is wrong with you' looks.

Some people can't cope with the idea that its possible to be friendly with 'strangers' - even when there is the shared bond of Landie ownership involved.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

If it is a Land Rover (all 4 flavours!!!) I wave. If it is a motorcycle, I wave also. If the other driver or rider doesn't wave back, I am still secure in the knowledge that I waved!!

But now that LR is owned by Ford, should I be waving at the Explorer drivers too?? :? And what about the Territory and Escape drivers. Should we recognise them as well?...

Nah! I'll stick to the LR drivers. They are all a fantastic bunch of people!

Hi Guys
I find that nearly all Defender drivers wave to me in my Ser3,BUT I have never had a disco driver wave.Is this some kind of snobbery against the more utilitarian TRUE LANDYS (ie non disco/rangie)???????????

Most Disco and Rangie drivers dont know the significance of either model to the history / survival of the Land Rover company.

People who drive those old Landrovers are generally just riff raff, and you certainly wouldn't want one talking to your daughter!

Even those Discovery people can be a bit rude.

If we Disco drivers appear rude sometimes we're not, we're just jealous because SWMBO wouldn't let us buy a defender.

But seriously I love my Disco and all the Land Rover models, I've had
two series 2's and the old man had a couple of series threes.
