Not to be too picky...but if it's 1987 (and going by the door handles it is), it most certainly isn't a Defender.

It's a Perentie 6x6... whether original or not is another story

I saw it in the 4wd buyers guide about 6 months back for around $95k... was offered by a place in WA who also had a few hummers and unimogs

Hi Guys
I have actually had a good look at that,it is one awesome bit of equipment. It belongs to the local auto electrician Trevor,(Narrogin) who is a landy nut.Very handy person to know!!!!!,I always enjoy droping in to his empoirum even if its to get something fixed!!!.He has a 130 dualcab as a work bus and his apprentice sone has a real neat D90 import.
He didnt build the 6x6,but bought it from the guy who built it for an expedition thru the Kimberley.
There has been no expense spared in its build-up,there is comfortable seating for 4,there is a pair of bucket seats in behind that side door. The photo doesnt do it justice, the thing is huge.Trevor has a photo of it in his shop parked next to his 130,it makes the 130 look small, the front gaurds are 6 inches higher than the 130's!!!!!!!
The day I looked at it I had Lindsay with me,he said Landys arent normally cool, but that is the most awesome Landy he had seen, and CAN WE BUY IT DAD!!!!!!!!!!!
Apparently its not the niocest thing to drive around town, too big, tall, huge turning circle etc.BUT IM SURE I WOULD LEARN HOW TO COPE!!!!!!!
Im pretty sure its not an Ex army Perentie, its normal width and cab height. Now if I can pluck 6 numbers out of the hat on sat nite its mine.KEEP YOUR GREASY MITTS OFF 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Perhaps not - but he's never had it towed, either

I have seen in a mag somewhere a really nice Pinzgauer that is a fan-bloody-tastic touring rig.
