    Useless anouncments

    Just watching a bit of TV then and had a scrolling message come up on the bottom of the screen

    Energex crews are working to restore power to 9500 home throughout north brisbane, caboolture and sunshine coast. 8O

    Now points go to getting the information out to the people, but I have a sneaking suspision that the people without power who need that info might not have got it :?

    Had that here (uk ) the other day . They asked on the local TV news for any with no power to call the Local electricty board or email them, and then gave out their webb site address.
