SO here is our girl, they took out all the front mammary glans on the side she had the rears out a few months ago.

In three weeks time, all the other side have to come out,big operation.

    Tumours in both sides

She is going OK,but it sad stuff....

Luckily nothing shows in the lungs, thats where it spreads too.Bloods all good, good strong slow heart beat, and as the vet said, super fit and lean and trim, which helps in these types of ops.Although being like this means its harder to stretch the skin which they need with this type of operation.

The vet also said we caught it early,so thats good.

Eating well, and she is pretty happy and comfortable,so all good so far.

She is a very active dog,so trying to keep her calm and let things heal.

Boot on left foot because she was scratching the wound with that foot, the boot stopped her doing it,and coat on to help hold the bandage on.

    Luckily its quite small,

Looks like she will have to have all of them off on one side, including lymph glands, etc

A big op,hope it all goes OK.

Had many dogs over the years, and this one is the best one we have had, by a country mile,so we are really attached to her

    Bloody cancer,it really sucks

We lost our Working Springer to cancer.
Sorry to here about your situation.
Our second Springer is also a great dog.
They both had personalities, intelligence and STAMINA!!!

    Pic would be good.

Ours is a what we call a field springer, probably same as yours.

    Same cancer as ours?

They are fantastic breed, when the time comes we will get another.

Ours has more stamina and will work for longer than my sons Koolie, which is same age

Their stamina and drive is amazing, then when at home, inside, they just switch off
