Reminds me of one of my brothers. He did a slow lap of Aus many years ago with a mate, in his SWB Series three. They had a bull terrier with them for the trip, that thing would rip your arm off if you went near the vehicle.

In fact i was doing a job in Chinchilla, and met them at the local caravan park, and the bloody thing nearly ate me.

It used to love riding on the roof rack, too cramped in the overloaded vehicle, and would jump off if it saw or smelt a wild pig.

I like my dogs and other animals more than I like most people.
Our newest addition - Lilly have had her about 6 months now. Likes to rip the lounge, thinks she is a lap dog, thinks bricks are chew toys and tries to eat pwer tools while you are using them

I think I got ripped off with this one, only comes out at night and does not fetch the ball.

Then there was my best mate Cassie that we had to have put down last September due to cancer. Still lost without her as she went everywhere with me when I was home.

    She did however come home.

This is Kaylee on one of our 4WD trips, all ready or the snow, and our beautiful Bella who we unfortunately had to put down last year. Kaylee was always an over active, friendly dog until we lost Bella. She has now turned into a grumpy old lady who doesn't like other dogs, but we still love her. Our Vet said if we get another puppy for her, she will probably be her old self again. We are considering it but it is not something to take lightly, and we also can't agree on what dog we would like. I would like something like a Border Collie or maybe a Boxer. Chris would prefer a smaller dog as he says that there is not much room in the car when we go away. I would be interested to see what breeds everyone would recommend. Requirements are: Intelligent, friendly to other dogs as well as people, likes riding in the car, especially 4WDriving, loves camping, gets on well with grumpy old lady dog, puts up with crazy cat that likes to boss dogs around, totally loves and adores her Mum and I suppose she should like her Dad a bit too. Any suggestions welcome. Cheers Sandi

Of course I'd say a Pug, but that doesn't fit the 'intelligent' requirement you have...

Id say a jack russel terrier, but he'd eat the cat, kill the rabbit, and try to root ur leg all day long. The up side is ud have no rats or mice and other cats wont come near him either😆😆😆

    Cheers Rod
