Disturbing find in dog's stomach after he refused to eat (yahoo.com)

Four pieces of a common, everyday clothing item have been discovered inside a dog's stomach after it became weak and refused to eat.

Canobolas Family Pet Hospital, in Orange in NSW's Central West, posted on Facebook seven-year-old black labrador Monty was rushed to the vet after his owners noticed he was ill.

"The next morning Monty went in for surgery where we found not one, not two, not three, but FOUR SOCKS in his stomach."

It is a Lab afterall, they eat anything

We had a golden lab called Monty - he used to eat socks too, but thankfully he **** them all out.

Once-popular dog breed now facing extinction

Once-popular dog breed now facing extinction (yahoo.com)

The Old English Sheepdog, one of Britain's most recognisable dog breeds, has been listed for the first time as vulnerable to extinction after a drop in popularity, The Kennel Club said on Monday.

The move by the club, Britain's biggest organisation devoted to dog health, welfare and training, follows declining numbers since the breed's heyday in the late 1970s.

Great looking dog...I had to look twice at the pic as I had one that looked exactly the same. It was a rottweiler cross Labrador. Best dog I ever had. She lived to 14 years oldShow us your ...........DOG
