New & rare species found in PNG

Makes you wonder what else is out there, Bob

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

    Bob,
Look up Lake Hargy, it's about 1 km from where i live, heavily forested caldera, never farmed or logged, so pristine. They do regular visits into it and find new species.

And as a bonus prize, the story about the man it's named after.

Shot down in WWII, but kept coming back for 70 years to help the locals.

Don't tell too many people or else it'll be eaten!

I agree a pristine spot. Hope the Oil Palm does not intrude too far!

    Cheers, Jerry

    We only plant:

    On old Coconut plantations
    Old logged areas
Or where the Volcano cleared for us back in 79

Biggest threat is rapid population growth, everything easy gets eaten undersize.
