    Lint spin thread

    Ah! this finely woven thread about lint.

    I must warn you where this thread is spinning to, the line about the lint could turn blue and beware of fluffing around this bundle of stuff we don't want it to become a navel gazing exercise.

    Is there a chance I could come out of the closet on this not wearing of a suit and confess that I only have one, a birthday suit? I tend to only be seen wearing it of the rarest of occasion's and that is when I am truly wet behind the ears.

    Mobile phone's, I don't answer anymore but I do use it to check the time as some learned soul said it was kept in sync by a atomic something or other, so that will do for me if my tummy doesn't tell me it's lunch time first.

    And as for going to funerals, well I don't, because the bloke or sheila that snuffed it would miss me anyway. As I do not go to funerals anymore, I keep intouch by texting my nieces and nephews to get a blow by blow account of the dropping their box in the hole.

    I must sharpen up on my text talk though, Pr ol jo b4 th bx drpd th sad wods ovr im.

    Wow! This thread could of gone rite of topic where it knot for Arthurs beautifully constructed prose. Funeral's are best avoided for as long as possible, methink's. My old man managed to stave his of until he hit 94 and I hope Ive got his jean's.
    It was a bit tricky scattering his ashe's from the Auster (his wish) but its amazing what you can do with a lump of stormwater pipe, a couple off end cap's and a suitably arranged tear-off patch. None of this morbidly standing around a big hole intoning incantation's for him. Ill think of him now whenever I go fishing or flying.
    As for attire, well, a pear off goggles and a clean flying jacket seemed to fit the bill...

    Jeez, naval lint, vegetable peelers and wallpaper patterns!
    Didn't know you guys were into extreme sports!
    Vegetable peelers are great for encouraging people to turn their phones off.
    Anyway, it's been a quiet night so I think I'll go watch some paint dry to tire me out!

    Naval lint!!!! You could be expelled from BABSH for talking about naval lint. Mainly because it is much more interesting than the lint gained from the army or the RAAF.

    And if you were watching paint dry, I hope for the sake of your membership that it wasn't any kind of bright colour. Some people we know recently took the lid off a tin of yellow paint, so that they could watch that skin form on the top, and that was enough for them to be kicked out.

    It was such a shame, as they were so wonderfully boring.

    Bores

    Lots of boring people about, the biggest bores work at creating holes in the ground and they are so full of nothing but the potential of their completed work, is so full of empty promise.
    Just think of all the postholes that you can distribute from the vast expanse of a closed open cut mine. The World should be thankful to boring people for their endless supply of postholes.
