Thread: New RN carrier, impressive

As carriers usually operate as part of a battle group with all sorts of escorts for protection and a couple of submarines hanging around, does the RN have enough ships left to do this?

Sorry Bob but yes it's the defense forces fault,not having catapults means the only plane that this POS can use is a plane that still doesn't fly,and defense caused the Seasprite fiasco that cost Oz tax payers 1.2 billion dollars and it was defense that wanted the F35 that doesn't fly and defense bought Super Hornets to fill the gap because the F35 doesn't fly,all this cost billions so don't tell me defense is not to blame.The idiots bought Taipan boots and spent $$$ changing them only to cause collapsed arches in soldiers feet,there lucky I'm not the boss. Maglev conduit is under the Kevlar-graphite skin centre of each launch path (it's camouflaged with a thin layer of the standard deck compound anyway)...

Bob, wearing a uniform is not proof against stupidity. Plenty of dickheads, bludgers, thieves, liars and cheats in the forces like in any cross section of the community.

men and women do contribute of the defence force do contribute to every purchase...

I come across plenty that I thought were incompetent like any organisation, plenty of places to hide in a section, platoon, company

but than again I didn't join to be a soldier so my view might be a bit skewed
