    TOWNSVILLE FINDS

Just spent an interesting morning on a couple of propertys just outside of Townsville look at some early model landrovers vehicles, one lead, led to 3 other propertys like most older Ser's stuff most is rusted beyound restoring but parts are often useable, one interesting one was this Ser3 Fire Unit fitted with a 4 cylinder motor or possable a very late Ser 2a?
This vehicle still has its pump siren, lights fitted and is machanicaly complete from what I can see, It ex Singapore Gov.I have more photos so I will have to add another post It is for sale if anyone is interested

I remember when Barry Chawner in Townsville acquired those fire trucks back in the '80s sometime. Pretty sure he was selling them for about $3K complete in working condition. A couple of them sold to to people who wanted the pumps off them for irrigation purposes.
