Re : Sugar in fuel tank trick

I was reading recently an article by Dr Karl, who knows the answer to most things technical, or otherwise spins a credible enough sounding tale that his listeners assume he must be right 8) . He was writing how he had long believed the sugar in fuel theory, but recently had come to realise it just doesn't work. I suppose I must have read this in a 4WD mag, which ever one it is that he writes for. So some of you should be able to scource the actual article.

So for all you sabbateurs out there, please turn to p.594, par 16 in the Destruction Manual, and delete the "SUGAR IN PETROL" section.

Put a "Life's better in a Land Cruiser" sticker on the back of your mates Landy.

A mate of mine had a bad habit of removing the king lead and running a wire to the bottom of your drivers seat. Then pushing a drawing pin thru the seat from the top to contact the wire from the dizzy. A few thousand volts thru your clacker soons fires you up!!!

permanently install a second coil and hot wire the drivers seat. :twisted:
put the second coil on a hidden switch and enjoy the next time someone tries to steal your car.
