Thread: Anyone for Barrington Tops In Jan?

I would be up for that Ash, what dates, will it be a saturday stay saturday night and come home monday job? Stacey has said i can come how about the 2nd or 3rd weekend in Jan, just not the long weekend. Matt

Yeah it won't be the long weekend, to busy. Was thinking get there friday night, do a track I know that will take all day and leave sunday. Or do another track on the sunday and come back monday, I'm easy.

You would go via the mudgee road to Maitland but would need to leave Very early, as the track really does take all day, but is well worth it. To give you an idea, on some parts of the track there are 15-20 foot high black boys (Grass Trees).

For those that don't know where it is, it's near Glouster for the main enterance to Barrington but where I go in is not that far north.

Is it possible to do the trip with only one overnight stay. Alternatively Noddy has suggested the Watagans around the same time. Could we do that instead, i really want to come but can only spare one night away from home. Matt
