Both issues have a lot of great Landy content.
I particularly enjoyed the short 'Pioneers of 4WD' article, with Len Beadell, Malcolm Douglas and Richard Asquith, all photographed with Landies (and two with Counties).
Seems to be aimed at being as an online Aussie version of Overland Journal, with high quality reproduction and similar story types, and none of the bush bashing or egomania seen in local mags from other publishers.
Hm gave this another go on the iPad but unfortunately also pretty bad to read there if you enlarge page a little bit to enable a 47 year old to read the tiny writing in all becomes blurry, pity some of the articles seem interesting
I find it not a bad read either.
A lot better than some of those other mags, which are often full of garbage & not worth reading at all.
One of my brothers subscribes to overlander so i get them every month after he has finished with them. They are not as good as they used to be,but not bad compared with the some of the other mags around.
Thanks .. enjoyed some of the articles. Design reads well on the PC![]()
I unsubscribed because I thought the site was poorly constructed and not easy to browse.
I like the 4x4 Australia mag because I think it is fairly well balanced.
Hi,
It presents well on an 8" tablet once downloaded and opened as a pdf in Kindle or similar.
Cheers
