    Ultimate disguised Cop-car

Just had a phone call from a rather amused son.... he spotted the latest (?) in WA undercover cop-cars. White, black window tint all round, roared through a suburban roundabout at a speed more suited said son's previous life as a hoon...
    - he even heard the whistling turbo above the noise.

    - did'nt catch a look at the driver, but with blue/red party lights and music to match.......

Oh yes, only thing he could'nt understand is why they put "FREELANDER II" on the tailgate.

What will they think of next !

I saw a car pulled over on the Western Freeway in Brisbane last year by an Iveco Daily dual cab tray back. It had red & blues behind the grille and I think it was one of the Qld Police mounted unit tow vehicles.

Same here, in Sydney a champaigne coloured Nissan patrol wagon fitted out with everything ARB can imagine front and rear bars, with rock sliders, roof rack etc. Pulled over a BMW 5 series doing about 120KPH in an 80 zone. The Police driver was wearing the gear of the Public Order and Riot Squad, so perhaps thats what they use them for when the public isn't rioting!

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Nah the NT cops have hit rock bottom.... My wife got stopped by a Toyota Yaris unmarked car. It was behind her , but because the Yaris front end was lower than the D3 rear tailgate , she could hear the siren but only seen the lights when he pulled one out from inside and put it on the roof.

It had the lights behind the grill , and she thought it was someone playing a trick, cop even laughed when she asked if he was a real cop. Still wrote her a ticket..

    Cheers Ean
