Yeah they are, the only bit that should get scraped is along the lengh. Under the bottom of the slider which is about 5 or 6mm wide, depending on how thick the steel is that i use.

That should be easy enough to go over with a brush every now and then. matt

That's what I reckon, I'm always looking under rosemary so I can keep an eye on any potential rust.
