    Identify this Lizard !!

    Can anyone identify this critter ? Spotted in WA Goldfields.

    the only thing that looks close on Google is an American Pygmy Short Horned Lizard.

    Looks like a ugly frog with a stick up its bum , runs like a mouse, but I think its a lizard, never seen anything like it.







    the Lizard guy at WA Museum is away for a few weeks

    It's the offspring from a union between a frog and a mouse.
    They do funny things in WA.

    Found a book that also had a image of a dead ringer & refers to it as
    Blotch-Tailed Earless Dragon / Tympanocryptus cephalus

    It has no ears and it is on top of pebbles so it's plausible it is a earless pebble lizard
