I have read many posts on this subject and not all have been good
Over the years I have brought a lot of L/R parts from the UK, at first I did shop around all the parts suppliers in the UK. and like many others ended up with cheap junk stuff I settled on Brookwell's and after a few words both by email and later by SKYPE over costs and the quality of the goods and shipping costs. I ended up corresponding with a bloke that treats me as a valued regular customer and really knows Landrovers. This worked fine until some one sent them a virus through Skype, I now buy about $20 Skype credit about every two - three months and chat about my needs / purchases before ordering This way I am confident of what I am getting I some times am able to barter on prices and we have settled on a carrier that is good in cost and time. I Skype phone call to any seller in the UK before buying, a 3-5 minute cost me about $1 which I feel is good value.
The best shipping agent that I have found out of the UK is UPs and if possible I try to get all my stuff sent through them where possible.
