Quite right Ron that is not ugly but you will notice it is the Blenheim IV and I was talking about the cheaper model, the 3 ;-)

The Bristol car company is descended from the Bristol Aeroplane COmpany. They had lots of aluminium and worker but no war so they got to building cars (ring any bells about history of another British Car Company?). They started building their own version of the BMW 328, the bluyeprints they got as a war reparation deal. They incorporated aircraft technology to the building of cars. Bristol were the first to use the flush windscreen mounting systems used on aircraft and standard for all modern cars. I think they were the first to use flush, duco coloured bumpers as well. Behind the front wheel is a cubby box which on one side houses the spare tyre and on the other side the battery , washer fillers brake reservoir etc - all the stuff you need to check levels on.

    An interesting car.

    Yes, Ron. Not that one.

It amuses me that so many people here (being LR fans) are wanting something really really really fast. It's not like you can use the speed anywhere, really.

Another couple of cars I like...

The old Rolls Royce Corniche convertibles (liek in "Arthur" or was it "10" ?)
    and
the very old (pre war) Bentleys and Bentley race cars.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

    gone

1994 Range Rover Vogue LSE "The Luxo-Barge"
    1994 Defender 130 HCPU "Rolly"
    1996 Discovery 1

    current

    1995 Defender 130 HCPU and Suzuki GSX1400
