    No carbon tax = emissions up

    Just after few weeks after the abolition of the CT we start looking the results of it.

    Er, from the article:
    There were a number of other factors, including “unexpectedly low” wind-power generation and an increase in electricity demand after a period when it had fallen.
    Oh, my power consumption has been up over the last three months, not because of the carbon tax (or removal of), but because of a few cold snaps and installation of additional electrical devices such as NBN equipment.

    It's being noticed over country Victoria and no doubt other regional areas in Australia. As our manufacturing industries are moving off shore, the demand for electricity is falling. Despite a short rise in power consumption, I'm tipping there has been a decline over the past few years and it will continue to decline.
