cats are great pets IF kept entirely inside. They are a 'cat'astrophe to our native animals.

I would get fined if my dog ran around chewing on anything but people happily toss cats out at night. Odd rules in almost every council/shire in Australia sadly.

A clip of a pic from a book by Skip Morrow- "I still hate cats"
    Plenty of great extermination ideas.

With many (most?) people in this country tending to live in houses that are fairly mouse-proof, we tend to forget the original reason for domestication of cats.

That said, particularly in the suburbs, there is something to be said for restricting the activities of these efficient predators.

One of the locals near here (now deceased) a few years ago had a shop in town. Sharing Chucaro's view of cats, he exhibited in his shop window a large photograph of the body of a huge one he got in his back yard. Unfortunately one of his customers recognised her missing pet, and kicked up a real stink. I think he managed to talk his way out of "discharge a firearm in a built-up area", but it did cause him a lot of trouble.

ALL cats seen AFTER dark, are Feral IMO and can be/ should be shot on sight. I don't care if a collar is on it, it is fair game.

I am a cat owner who keeps their loved family pet INSIDE most of the time, ONLY allowed outside during daylight hours with supervision.

this is how it should be, they are a predatory species.

    Commas are different to Periods.

A 22.250 will turn a cat inside out at 100 metres with the right projectile...
