<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>It has it's moments there. Mostly the downer moments are when somebody is attacked personally, or a pointless argument like which is the better 4x4, is diesel or petrol better etc breaks out. That or somebody tries to impose their views upon others...

For the most part, I find the overlander forum as usefull as this one (that said I do like this one better).[/b][/quote]

There seem to a few individuals who cannot accept that not everyone wants to buy/own a Nissan or Toyota. I get sick of them ramming dowm everyone's throat that they are somehow of superior intellect to anyone who does not subscribe to their views.

Great news about the D3....can only imagine what that will prompt :?

Seriously, when I win lotto and have the space, I want to do up an old original Kombi (the ones with the split front windscreen). 'Old Kombis don't die, they just go to Byron"

I haven't been on that forum for a while. I've even been quiet on 4WD monthly forum, and the guys I met from there were a really decent bunch.

Oh yeah, it was to be expected with the Disco 3.

    Interesting stuff.

Such is life on the web.

I am working on an article about Landrover and Jeep owners, and what makes these two marques special. I will be interested to see the reaction of these people to that article, provided it is a well-worded rational response. (yes, yes, I'm optimistic)

It is also interesting to note that in my several interviews for that article all the owners focused on why they loved their marque. Not one ever made a derogatory remark about another marque.
