Good to hear it, I hope you are as happy with all your new toys as I am.
You'll have to come for a run with me in the Watagans to give it a real test.
Just get some Rock Sliders:wink:

Mmmmm it has steps albeit those crappy alloy ones, should stop damage to the sills at least.
I would love too thats why i bought it after all and i did it in the Explorer so should be more fun in something more capable.

I think you will find they are only screwed to the sill. 8OOriginally posted by Redback

I was looking at getting the step/rock slider combo from ARB, but at the last BBQ One Iota pointed out, if you really give them a knock you can bend them up enough to stop the doors opening. I am going with ones like his instead. A solid bar which runs under the sill which is mounted to the chassis. They mightnt look flash but they are far more functional. Its a good thing cause Disco95 is making some for his, and mine at the same time. Top bloke that Sean fella. MattOriginally posted by Redback

G'day Redback....sounds very nice!
Are you getting it chipped or having the ECU remapped?

You could talk to him, but seeing as your new ride is a of different dimension he has nothing to measure it up to, as my 4dr is on the same chassis etc as his 2dr, except ours are series I discos, yours is Series II. Not sure how the dimensions of rails etc underneath differ. I know the series II is 4 inches longer. MattOriginally posted by Redback
