Thread: Please take Note!

Hi Mark,
I did read about efforts that various people have put in over the years re: raffles etc. and I have no doubt that everyone did a great job of keeping things going given that the site is still here.


I wasn't really making those suggestions in lieu of a membership fee but in association with. Purely, as stated in the original post, that for me personally and I'm surely not the only one, with extended periods away from the site things like fundraising raffles etc. could be missed all together. I was actually favouring the second idea of being on a list that was contacted at times when funds were required. Although if Dave could get 18000 users paying $1/month there may not be a need for any other income.
I think the vast majority of people, whom are familiar with this site, would happily pay at least $1/mth given just one good piece of advice from this site can save you thousands...... and those that don't want too pay can ...............


PS. Mark I'm not sure how "Brilliant" an idea that was, good luck getting SWMBO to go along with that. Not exactly a w'end trip mate but you know the old saying " I don't ask you don't get".......;-)
