Thread: Park Victoria camping booking system

Hi Guys, I knew from last time visited Grampiang a few month ago that we have to book online before to stay in the park's camping ground, now the fee apply even to camping in some state park. there is a link from Park Victoria.

I notice they're now charging to camp at our favourite bush camp in Lerderderg State Park (Vic), and you have to book it in advance.
I can see this causing problems similar to what happened at Cape York when they introduced a booking system up there...... you turn up looking forward to your weekend and someone is in your spot.
It's a bit more serious when it happens at somewhere like the Cape, for example, we (convoy of 11 vehicles) drove 100kms off the main road to an Archer River campsite, which we had pre booked and paid for, only to find another group already set up there. They refused to pack up and move. Needless to say, this caused some tension between us.........not happy.
