My daughter was an international flight attendant for 9 years; has she got some tales to tell. Some people are disgusting creatures and what they get up to is unbelievable. She has been spat at, groped and pushed.
I am a frequent international traveller myself and sometimes in the galley chatting to the crew on a long flight, I get told even more tales.
My daughter told me the best way to get service is to ask nicely, and when you get the item you asked for, is to say thank you and smile. Good manners win every time and it certainly works for me.

No different than some public toilets on the ground. People might present well in appearance but their hygiene and cleanliness can be otherwise desired. Problem is these pigs see nothing wrong with it.
I worked at a couple of place over my years where staff left toilets in a mess. Once place I worked at we had contractors that had less than desired toilet training. Sick of discenfecting the loos daily, the solution I came up with was I put padlocks on the doors. Then when they tried to use them I told them there were bushes outside. Couldn't do that these days though, discrimination laws and do gooders saying they have more rights than you for hygienic safeyy

At the crabfest last year went into what is usually a realy good public toilet and some low life decided that they did not wnat to use the bowl and defecated all over the floor and I mean everywhere. I could not believe that so much could come out of one person,
Often nappies just thrown around.
But not just limited to physical mess also noise.
Trying to read and relax on a flight home after work, a idiot directly behind me decided he wanted to watch a movie on his lap top and spent the whole flight with the sound turned up flat out and could be heard 4 rows away. Then his laughter for the whole time was just obnoxious and so loud the air hostie asked him to quieten down twice but he kept on even after being told to Shut Up by several of us. Some had come off night shift and were trying to get a bit of sleep. When we got into Perth he said to his mates, was I a bit loud and they all thought was funny. 3/4 of the plane wanted to kill him. The thing that amazed me was he thought the movie was the funniest he had ever seen. It was 21 Jump Street, That movie barely had a funny moment, some minor laughs but certainly not that funny.

Obnoxious people are in their element with a captive audience. Most don't have much of a life, best to ignore them , unless you want to adopt them. Bob
