Yep, no getting away from it. But the fact remains, the All blacks are on the way down, the Springboks on the way up. The Wallabies? Still a team rebuilding. See you next year. Bob

Yes well done to the Safas. That was a cracker game. I don't know what I was watching in Argentina. A team wearing blue and white that was pumped. A team that was wearing green and gold that was imploding. And some small fella in the middle of it all making a fool of himself. It could have been rugby but not as I know it.

    Cheers,

    Danial.

You gotta love the optimist... I think the Wallabies missed the memo about the rebuild.

As for the ABs, after 22 games unbeaten, there was only one way to go from the there eventually, just glad it was via an awesome game with the number two team in the world and not the 12th...

Hang on to the past, you may need the memories. You've given the Springboks a sniff, that's all it takes. Wait 'till next year, Bob.

Topping off an awesome weekend of rugby, the Manawatu Turbos go to the top in the ITM Cup table over Hawke Bay after beating HB 29-3. Even Aaron Cruden picked out the splinters to leave the bench for his team...

Aaron Cruden came off the bench in the second spell to make his maiden appearance of the ITM Cup season but the Turbos hardly needed the All Black's help, earning the victory in a completely dominant opening half.

The win in Palmerston North lifts Manawatu to the top of the second tier ahead of next week's final round, ensuring they will be in charge of their own destiny when visiting Otago on Friday

No worries Bob, memories like those games are things to cherish, even if we were beaten by the Boks, it could have gone one way or the other... it was truly a classic top of the table clash... ABs had two off for concussion, and Kerr-Barlow off with a spectacularly torn ACL, complete with slow-motion replays of a leg going places a leg ought not.

Should add too, it was McCaws 134th game for the ABs and he surpasses Colin Meads 133 games.

I watched that game, Cruden was ordinary. Bob
