Agree re golden handshakes,
Sometimes u have to spend the bucks to make the bucks, but u have to spend it right.
This is fine if the company you run is making a Sqillion dollars profit as the banks do.
What ****es me off is when a company is losing money(allan Joyce comes to mind) and then when the CEO finally quits he then gets a golden handshake with a few mill to go with it.
As for Australian post. regardless of competition, last time I checked it was government owned and therefore should be classed as a public service.
If a company is no longer viable it would cease trading.
