Thumbs up A Disco 4 for a few days!

Gracie, our Defender 90, has had to visit her Dealer for a day or so for her turbo hose recall, Ist service etc, so as we needed a car to get home, we've been lent a 2012 Disco 4 SDV6SE.
Very nice indeed, 180KW & 600NM would be very nice in our 90!
Wifey drove it home, she said it was very easy to drive,...very pleasantly surprised she said!
So, Gracie ain't gonna be displaced anytime soon, as Karen really likes her Audi S3, but anyway, we were both really impressed with our first drive/ride in a Disco 4.

    Thumbs up

No!,...No thoughts of that at all at the moment.
A Defender is a Defender is special for all sorts of reasons, & we're super happy with it, but,......the time may come, when we're looking for a bit more luxury?

Good to see your not going to the dark, err plastic side
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

They're tough too, despite the electronics. We had a D4 in our Simpson Desert group, riding on Bridgie ATs, and it cruised over the dunes with no problems at all, only got stuck twice and just backed up and tried again, while the climate control and air suspension kept the driver and passenger cossetted in comfort (unlike the rest of us). Our whole group, which were skeptical about it at the start, were well impressed.

I'm definitely thinking of getting into a D4 or RRS....all I've got to do is convince the Cook and I'll be down the stealers like a rocket.
