Look to be a Ex Army 2a , workshop at a guess.
Did you get the chassis number?
I don't know if this has been posted previously.
This vehicle is located approx.160Km into the Great Sandy Desert due East of Sandfire Flats Roadhouse.
This poor old Landy has become part of the eco system with it's own resident lizard.
Frightened me halt to death until I identified it.Looks to be a Ridge Tailed Monitor

The story goes that in about 2007 a couple of old prospectors ventured into the Great Sandy Desert in this very second hand looking petrol Landy. About 250 Km in the vehicle caught fire and was totally destroyed along with the attached trailer and motor bike.
They were very, very lucky that they managed to rescue their comms gear.
About 1 Km back down the track there is the remains of an old exhaust pipe/muffler. I can only assume that it came from this Landy as there's not much traffic out this way and its loss led to this disaster.
