Rather than a robust debating forum, I see the new area as an expression and exchange of views. Mature people can hold differing views and respect both the holder and view. To date, I've seen nothing to warrant an infraction, in the new (CA) section. It's all jolly polite old chap.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
Those who jump in , and push their particular political views on others, at the expense of intelligent debate. Those who , when faced by a different opinion, attack the person giving the opinion, instead of an intelligent discussion on the subject. I see no positive outcome from this new political forum. And that should be the litmus test. That is just my opinion. Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food
A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
It never ceases to amaze me how loudly some people object to discussion on a particular subject. "How dare you discuss this topic on a (****) forum?" Sad, really. People really need to learn how to not click on threads with unwanted topics. Do their heart rates a power of good.
Anyway, I hope that the members most interested get some good commentary into the current affairs section, it's been a bit slow to start with.![]()
Unbelievable....this thread is hotter than the new section by all accounts.![]()
Yes it's amazing. I see there is a thread about Seinfield in Parliament. I can't stand Seinfeild. Do I go in to the thread and whinge about him. No. I understand that others do not share my opinion of Seinfield. Good luck to them. Why can't people let others have an opinion and accept that their opinion or other peoples opinions are not necessarily right or the best? Get over it people and move on. It's not that hard to do . Really.
Tom.
But it is the General Rated sort of thing that may get discussed around a camp fire - unlike a lot of other non-4wd related crap that gets put up in a trolling gesture to try and provoke arguments from others. I am not privy to the new section so i assume it has gone there.
