You can also vote on the Daily Telegraph
    No Cookies | dailytelegraph.com.au

at the same time with another window open for the Adelaide newspaper. Definitely added more than 10 extra votes just now but lost count flicking back and forth from one window to the other.

I have added another 210 votes today.

If I bumped into Rae in the street I reckon I would recognize her.

Digger, I think we are fighting a losing battle.

It is one, your mum, against 30 schools with thousands of students.

These students will all be on facebook getting hundreds each to vote.

A bit unfair I reckon. This award should only be open to individuals, not organizations.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

    I am very impressed Dave!

You may be right about the battle but at least we are fighting!

    Thanks everyone!

    Dave,
I was wondering who was adding the votes around lunchtime. I added about 50 odd but someone else kept continuously adding as well - it must have been you with your 210.

I like a good competition but 30 schools and 1000s of students make it hard if it is just the folks on the forum voting, especially when voting doesn't close until 2nd Nov I thought I read. I did think today whilst voting if you could off-shore the voting to India and pay someone $50 to put 5000 on but then that is a bit outside the spirit of things.

For a volunteer organisation $10K is a lot of money and takes a lot of fundraising. It would be good if Digger's mum could get that to help out.

I'll keep voting but I'm not sure we can overtake #1 unless we change tactics. For instance expand the voting to a wider audience, eg. Land Rover owners in other parts of the world UK, Japan, US, non-Land Rover/4WD forums...

Did another 60. Could not go to bed and leave her on a bit under 2000

My tally for the day 270. Now if only we could all do this.

Just trying to figure out how to write a macro that will -

    .......... cast a vote
    .......... refresh the page
    .......... cast a vote
    .......... 10 times, then
    .......... clear web browser
    .......... return to the site
    .......... repeat the steps above

all running continuiusly in the background (and of course casting the vote for the right candidate (the order of the candidates keeps changing every time you cast a vote).
    Cheers .........

Go back to post 51. There is a link to another voting site.

I then have both sites open side by side

I did above except cast two votes so I get 20 before having to clear browser.

It looks like they have removed the counts from the voting page so we have no idea how many votes everyone has. When I last looked this morning Digger's Mum was about 4-500 votes behind.
