Thread: Vote for my mum... Please!

I got on this morning at 9.15 and I got 94 votes before being blocked.

I tried again at 11.05 and was still locked out.

Tried again at 11.40 and I was good to go. Got 51 before being blocked.

So that is around to and a half hours.

Have since been out all day and just got home so about to have another go.

Just finished another stint, 6.15 52 votes.

My son LRDan is home at the moment and is highly computer savvy. I asked him his opinion on this and he reckons it should be working.

I posed the question to him as to how do we know if the vote is going to Rae or maybe everyone.

He suggested to do the same with another candidate and see if the the web address is the same. It is apart from the last bit which is the state, so this tells me this is working.

So to all you other AULROians who have voted, do this twice a day, early morning and late at night. Will take you five minutes a stint and will generate somewhere between 150 and 250 votes.

The link is different for each person you want to vote for. So for Rae it has "environment-sa" at the end indicating that we are voting for SA in the environment category. I did 61 before I was blocked this afternoon. Will try again later.

Yep. That is what I figured. Now 9.30 Was allowed another go. Got 64 votes.

Three and a quarter hours since last time. Will have another crack before bed.

Hopefully will allow up around 100+

I did about 90 an hour ago before it blocked me, so I can't work out how it determines when to block you. All up I've probably done close to 200 today. I'd love to see the tally for Digger's mum now. Anyway it isn't too difficult with that quicker link to rack up a lot of votes in a short time.

sent mum a copy of the thread via email, I just told her some people have voted and thought she'd like to see....

Done, you can vote for an individual up to 10 times. Have used the quick link and voted until my finger is sore and posted on FB so family and friends in SA vote. Will vote some more tomorrow.
Also voted in a few of the other categories as well.
How do you check the tally, nothing showing up when I have voted multiple times?
