build a bridge and move on
you just can't help some people so your mad to waste time and angst over them IMHO
Like most of you guys I suppose, I've bought a bit of stuff from Ebay over the years, I play by the rules, ALWAYS leave feedback myself, pay quickly, communicate when need be etc etc. I have 100% feedback, nothing special about that I know. If you do the right thing, that's what you get.
So, what do you guys do when someone does NOT leave feedback for you?
Is that an issue for you, if it is, what action do you take, or,......if the item you've bought is ok, do you just get on with life & forget about it?

As others have said - there is no rule that requires feedback to be given - remember not getting feedback does not impact your rating where getting negative feedback will - don't worry about.

I'm in exactly the same position as you Pickles2, and initially had the same reaction but then I too came to the conclusion - not to get worked up about it and move on.

Yes, a bit unfair sometimes but as said not worth worrying about.
As an example........... some time ago I sold a spare brand new Yamaha digital boat speedo on ebay to a bloke in Vic.for about 1/3 new price. Weeks later I get a message from him saying he had it fitted by a dealer and it doesn't work so he wants his money back. A bit sceptical about this so I ask him to send it back to me and I will fit it to my boat and if it is faulty I will refund the money including postage. When it arrived I fitted it to the boat and guess what, it functions perfectly!. So I get back to him and tell him it works fine and either the dealer is telling fibs and just wants to make a sale himself or else his boat wiring is faulty. So he says send it back and he will fix me up for the postage. Guess what - never received the postage cost and no feedback received at all even after I asked him to give some. You just can't please some people. Not worth worrying about!!!!
Cheers......Brian

The main problem I have with leaving feedback is when they use it as a bargaining tool or hold you to hostage about it, e.g. "if you leave us positive feedback then we will do the same". A lot of sellers will not leave your feedback until you have left theirs. This is wrong as far as I am concerned as once a buyer has paid and given their delivery details they have done the right thing and should receive positive feedback and the seller should then be judged by them on their performance at despatching the item. Some do the right thing but many don't.
