Number two on the list, "I wish I didn't work so hard"

My only regret will be "I wish I didn't HAVE to work so hard"

I certainly don't work hard for fun. I am doing it to be able to enjoy a modest lifestyle and at the same time educated two children and try to save for retirement.

I hope to semi retire at about 62(not far away) and fully at 65, although the cost of living is rising faster than I can keep up.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

    Okay, now for some honesty.

    Numbers 1, 3, and 5.

And 1. Very painful to contemplate...

Number 5 I'm nibbling at, got 10 hours of flying lessons so far... and loving it.

I am pretty happy with my life. If I had my time over again, sure I would do a lot of things different, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

    Exactly!

I would suggest that most of those opinions came from quite elderly people, as some of them belong to a previous generation.

Me? 61, retired and loving it.

At what stage of life should we start having these regrets?

Most of those top 5 aren't mine anyway , but they could probably change.

Crikey , might still be here in 40yrs......yuk!

Your number 5 is something I would have love to have done but there is no was I could ever have afforded it, so it is therefore not a regret. I did do a discounted introductory flight about 30 years ago, loved it but as I said couldn't afford it.

If I ever win lotto I will be at the airport the next day. As a side note my son is a pilot.

One of the most probable regrets is not listed, that is:
Getting laid one last time in me dotage.

    Serious.
