    Wheel Spacers on Trailer. Legal or no?

    Hello wise forum.

    Ok, i've searched high and low and have found plenty of opinions but no definitive answer...

    Does anyone know if it is legal to fit wheel spacers to a single axle trailer? The actual trailer is a No 5 Army trailer, not that it matters I guess.

    I'm not sure that there is any comment on it in VSB1, but it would probably cost the same to replace the axle and then swap the hubs over.

    I thought I had read on a NSW RTA publication that they are not permitted unless fitted by the trailer axle/hub/suspension manufacturer. However I have not yet re-found the document.
