Storm cases - where to buy?

Does anyone know a good source? (ie best price / cheapest freight) (ideally in Brisbane but if free freight anywhere will do).

I am sick to death of el-cheapo Crazy Clarks nasty plastic cases breaking with the first slightly rough trip or a few days of UV exposure !
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Bunnings sell Pelican cases (military style). I have a few of these for carting camping gear. They are water proof and ant proof and very tough. They get bounced around in the back of the 130 without any issues.

I've been told Rubber Maid make the best plastic boxes - I know of a couple of people that swear by them. Personally never used them.
The plastic boxes from the discount stores and even the supermarket chains are only good for going under the bed.

If you have the time, strike up a friendship with the old fella in the disposal store in high St Kipparing. He gets in the ex Army ones. Get to know him, you can get a good deal [ don't tell him I said that.] Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Aah! "Harry the rat catcher " aka Northside Disposals,an Alladin's Cave,I used to get most of my period uniform gear from there, he also stocks a lot of ex-Iron Curtain uniforms now,as well as a good variety of camping gear & tents.

That's the one, spend the time to look, you could find a bargain, he & his wife are lovely people. I'm working on finding out his secret spot for barra. close to Lakefield N.P. . He told me you have to take Battle Camp road, but I think he's trickin'. Bob

For those who've recommended particular brands - e.g. 'rubber maid' (which I've never heard of) do you know any Brisbane area suppliers?

    Blackwoods has pelican products.

Do your research first for the interior and exterior dimensions and ask for a quote.
Can get cheaper if you know someone with a trade account discount.
