Apprently if you wait out the back of the cop shop until they do change over theres heaps of them, none of them should be hot but if they are just pick another one or let that one cool down before handling it, failing that use gloves.

Dont the police reuse the winches when they get new vehicles, i would have thought they just have them swapped over. Matt

it would be just as contaminated if not worse.....it wasnt getting washed in the rain
