whether it is appropriate in whatever circles you mix in is another question altogether and beyond the scope of the guidelines here.

Just hilarious. I got a 'warning for using the word blood e and will no do doubt get another. I tried to disguise my swearing, thinking I was doing the right thing, but instead told I was breaching forum rules.

The forum doesn't want words used that are not PG, and yet allows the mystique of Santa to go through?

Isn't that above PG incisor? I'd say at least MA

If my son saw tgat image, who is 6, would he believe Santa wields a machine gun?

I don't really care because my PG kids don't read AULRO, funnily enough they find it boring when I try to show them posts...

If someone wants to call people tree jiggers because they think Santa holding a machine gun is a bad message- fine

If he is the same person that warns you not to swear or you'll be booted off the forum, is it hypocritical? Not sure

But when you claim to hold moral high ground, it is difficult to maintain if you moral standards are consistent and strict.

BRW live the forum, every night I live my 29-39 mins if scanning ( puts me to sleep) but I did find it amazing for my warning if using done fairly basic swear words in context ( not swearing at anyone else) after nearly having a fatal collusion and actually thinking I was doing the right thing by not using the vowels in the swear word.

Santa gave me my first gun when I was 10
    It was in my stocking.
A spring powered slug gun called a Gat if I remember.
One put the muzzle to a hard surface , pushed down till it clicked , unscrewed a plug, inserted a waisted air rifle pellet, screwed the plug in,
    Aimed and pulled the trigger.
The spring would propel the barrel forward till it came to an abrupt stop leaving the pellet to continue on its way.
Gave a whole new perspective to our games of Cowboys and Indians.
It was the only gun Santa gave me. All the others I had to buy myself.

As long as you're only hugging it, and it (tree) has given consent then there's no problem with being a tree hugger...

Some peoples logic is very basic
    1 all guns are evil
2 if you own a gun you are evil
3 if you promote shooting with guns you are evil and anybody that accepts is evil

But if a gun is used to save your family is it still evil or good if good then the above logic is all wrong

The funniest thing there is that bloody isn't in the swear filter so you can use that word if you see fit. . It's only when you try to self sensor that you get a slap on the wrist. Type the whole word and if it's a no no, the swear filter will remove it automatically. Most do get a warning for this when they are new to the site - including me. There's more to it than the site just being a Nanny as many think. It needs to be kept like this to keep the advertisers happy. Even mild swearing can have severe consequences which ultimately may cost the site advertising revenue.
