    You don't have to get me one but thanks for the offer. They seem to be fantastic especially that new diesel but it is hard enough containing my joy at owning a 96 Defender. If I got happier with my vehicle I would have some kind of freak out. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif[/img]

    Drive past Austral Land Rover this morning and was very disappointed that they didn't have a Discovery 3 on display stands out the front (ie visible from street).

    And what should happen at the next corner - a brand spankers silver one still with trade plates drives past on the corr-road.

    Hey Discomaniac,

    Mines been on order since Mid Ded 04. According to the dealer (I checked
    yesterday) its scheduled to hit Oz on 28 April with a very long 2 or more weeks to get to me [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif[/img] . That makes my delivery 6 months :x

    I ordered Chawton White for 2 reasons: 1. cheaper and 2. I hate to see scratches in the clear coat on metallics after the first bush rubs on the duco.

    Like you I think about it everyday and read the UK and US LR forums everyday to see what new things have been discovered that LR forgot to mention and what seems to go faulty. I've learnt heaps already.

    I downloaded the Australian User manual from the GTR website and also all of the accessory installation manuals. Link below and owner manuals if free but tech manuals costs to download.

    I was after some accessories like rubber mats and sill protectors but can't even get a price yet let alone find if they will be available.

    One of my biggest disappointments is the 4*4 message centre in the centre of the dash is not standard with the Terrain Response - every other country get this. I didn't want Sat Nav but assumed the screen was std in Oz but it isn't - why NOT :x

    41 days to go before the vehicle hits Oz and then I'll be ringing every few days to find out where it is and they will get sick of me and hopefully hurry up the delivery. :wink:
