I forgot a word of caution; don't rev the vehicle hard so the wheels are madly spinning, then jump on the brakes. Unless you like replacing bits of transmission that is.

This technique is a LOT easier with autos, but possible with manuals.

Not necessary with ETC as that does it for you more efficiently as it brakes only the spinning wheel, so the torque transfer is greater.

Emphasis on gentle. It is a quiet conversation between the left foot and the right foot. Whisper rather than a shout. I like it because you stay touch with both the vehicle and the road. You can feel these things through the pedals.

    Robert,

    You are most welcome.

As an aside I wonder if the owners of a D3 would ever appreciate the subtleties of these things having "dialed" in the terrain.

Are we losing the sensation of Touch. Is driving becoming a Play Station 2 experience?

Reminds me of the time I suggested (at the evening dinner table) that we should buy a brothel. My wife could be the madam, son (6'4" tall - 1.93 m) could be the bouncer. Me? Quality control.

Unfortunately there are no save points or a restart option in real life, if there was Jasons puddle incident wouldnt have been so bad.

Where is you wifes sense of fun, that could have been a real earner. Matt
