    LED Driving / spot lights

Has anyone purchased LED spot lights that are of good quality but don't have the gold plated price of the ARB ones ? 18cm to 22cm diam.

It appears that most on this forum tend to agree LED just isn't there yet and from what i hear FYRLYTS are about the best spot lights you can get Halogen ones and i think there made in Australia and from what is said on here about them they are bloody awesome bits of kit!!

    Gday
If you want a near bullet proof housing and lense that doesn't require a protective cover, that also allows you to see so far up the road or track it's not funny. Then it has to be Fyrlyt Nemesis.
I'm not just saying that because I sell them.
Even the standard Fyrlyts will do most people.
You can't get the distance with LED's.

    Just my 2cents.
    Cheers

Granted outright intensity will be a big part of how bright you turn the night but if you're talking about how far up the road the light goes doesn't that have more to do with how the light is projected as opposed to the light itself?

Can't comment on LED driving lights but I do have a decent LED light bar. As good as it is, it does not come close to a good set of driving lights. Very bright white spread but not huge throw. It compliments the driving lights nicely.

If I could only have one and not both I would have driving lights. Mine are Fyrlyts

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."
