    An interesting and accessible site is Lake Acraman (Acraman Crater) near Lake Gairdner in SA, an very old impact but what a whopper.

    I only drove through there a few weeks ago as well.

    Don't know if locals think this stuff is insignificant but I would have stopped and looked had I known.
