There have to be found a solution to this problem
I understand that people have to be respectful not only for the Aboriginal heritage sites but also the environment and the conservation of the tracks and it is very hard to achieve this but at the same time there are a lot of people that would like to enjoy these sites and are not allowed to do it because the behavior of few.
Could be a solution to employ Aborigines who are the custodians of these sites to guide and supervise the visitors activities?
We should all of us have the right to enjoy the Australian wilderness and not be only for the enjoyment of few.

What smells about this latest episode, is that the Judge that made the ruling was a well known Politician before retirement from the Senate.
I think the piles of wind blown shell grit that I have seen are far from being man made.

Many years ago in Nowra there was a land claim on an area in South Nowra that had the rugby field, Archer Race course and a few other community recreation areas. The elders had convinced the courts there was evidence of continuing occupation and man made piles that could only be middens.
That was until the post war Shoalhaven Shire Town Engineer came down from the Gold Coast with his set of the Shire maps from his tenure, which showed the whole area was (a long forgotten) swamp reclamation in the immediate post-war period.
Claim denied.
