    Don't tell me I didn't try...

So, some here may know I'm an avid cricket lover - of the test match variety. Tonight I sat down to watch the T20 match between the Adelaide Strikers and the Hobart something or others. I really did try to keep an open mind...

Got to say, it was MORE disappointing that I thought it would be. I was thinking a bit of hit & giggle, I could live with that, but holy ****! WTF are they on???

Between the bull**** music blasting out and the cuts to the commentary team between every ball, I couldn't make head nor arsehole of the whole affair.

Roll on the Sydney test - TEST CRICKET RULES!!! I can live with one day matches, but geez, this 20/20 crap is just a farce.....

Anyone who likes this **** need a bullet... Sorry about that - I tried, but as they say 'It just ain't cricket'.

No arguments from me on this one. I would rather read the vaccination thread than watch 20 20

Even SWMBO who last year used to enjoy the 20 20 rubbish, has gone off it and enjoys watching a test with me.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Now now my cricket haters, I could turn you easily. My kids used to hate cricket of any form, but after having it on day after day during last years Boxing Day match, they now appreciate it and sit and watch it with me from time to time.

So, pop around for 5 days straight during a test match and you'll be a convert...

I never liked it as a kid. Dad did and living in a one telly house, it used to **** me off when dad, who owned the telly, watched the cricket.

Especially when he fell asleep and I would change the channel. He would wake up and say "hey, I was watching that"

Don't ask me what changed, but I became a tragic at age 21. Both my boys love it, my younger son went to day two at the G.

All of our family are MCC members.
