can we ease up on those that don't see the need please

    different strokes for different folks...

i very much appreciate the support and am very grateful but it is what it is and peoples mindsets are obviously different...

if they don't see the value they don't see the value...

and it's time to move on ....

in 7 days we have reached what i believe to be about 50% of what we need to achieve for it to work as i believe it should and that is more than i hoped for upfront

once again, thank you to all that have, i much appreciate your support

Well this is a hell of a thread although I didn't read it all as the theme was pretty constant with the gratitude being well, gratifing .

I actually started subscribing a few years ago simply because I felt the need to somehow repay or acknowledge all the technical advice I been the beneficiary of over the years and how it has given me the confidence to take my Defender literally wherever she will go.

Really no amount of money could adequately convey my gratitude to Inc and his crew for the efforts they go to to keep this forum alive.
The wealth of information in his servers is priceless.

So is it a question of value for money?
    I don't think so!

Is it a question of gratitude? maybe for some like me.

Bur more importantly it is about investment, investing in the future of a great forum and dare I say it, investing in the future of Land Rover.

    Cheers,
    Paul.

Long time no post for me.
I let my subscription lapse a couple of years ago. Haven't been very active for quite a while either.

WOW this thread is a surprise. I can fully understand the need to charge and don't have an issue with it. I may even still stick around even if I don't drive a Landy anymore.

The friends that help out in times of need are worth the $11. Efforts by people over the years for total strangers is amazing and I have referred many people to the site. I still feel I owe more to those who have help me compared to the times I have been able to help others.

Oh and the non landy parts are great when you are down and ill suffering from cabin fever.

    Yes.
Learning to deal with it these days. Just have to know my limits and watch everything I do. I find most of the injuries while in the shower or from the blood.
Meds mess with me quite a bit too.
