I bet his other car is a Commodore

A hoon driver has been caught travelling more than 60km over the speed limit on Melbourne's West Gate Freeway.

The 26-year-old had his Toyota Hilux impounded for 30 days when he was nabbed doing 144km/h in an 80km/h zone at Port Melbourne at about 1.45am on Friday.

When intercepted by police, the driver told officers he thought he was only doing 110km/h.

The St Albans man is expected to be charged on summons with speeding.

It's a doddle. You can't fail anyone anymore because it might hurt their feelings.

More to the point, this highlights a looming problem in our society. With the demise of the Commodore, in the near future poor old Mr Plod won't know which type of car to target. Their profiling will be all wrong (if it isn't already).

Anyrate Mick, the dickhead probably didn't have a licence anyway. why bother with a small detail like sitting for your licence.

You raise a valid point, the next Yobbo car, sit six in the back, high enough for Macca drive through, cost no more than $4,000, not require washing or servicing.
    It's a big ask,
ex Govt Hilux must be a contender

You are probably right there. I used to live in a block of flats in Elwood. Another fellow living in the same block of flats loved an ale or three. He refused to get a license. His reasoning "Why get something they're going to take off me anyway?"

Yep, the Hilux has to be lowered with the back dragging on the ground when they go over speed humps. The idiot driver has his cap turned back to front to match his brains.

Surely the radar/camera is wrong, a hilux do over a hundred ? He must have used the full length of the Nepean highway as a run up.
