Hi Guys
I just finished painting the 109 van.
It turned out pretty good,before anyone asks NO PICS,NO DIGI CAMERA

ops:

ops: BUT I have a normal camera so when they are developed I will see what I can do.
Its now baby****orange instead of the standard baby****yellow.It was very bright and orange,almost the old telecom orange when wet but is drying off to a more of a tan/orange.The can of paint was a freebie rescued from the bin at work,brand new 4lt unopened tin of "Case Tan".So if you see a Case front end loader,thats the new colour.
I can pretend its a Defender,because you can see all the ripples and wobbles in the shiny panels.Just like one of those nice new shiny 'Fenders :wink: :wink: :wink:
Its the first cars Ive painted,the job is not 100% perfect,put Im quite proud of my first attempt.
Anybody want thier Ferraharri or Lambagreenie painted,Ive got a litre or 2 of paint left [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img] [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img]

Congratulations on a finished job.....as for the Ferrari or Lambo...just thin the paint out well and it'll stretch [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif[/img]

Well done Andy' with that colour the Harvey mud will be hard to see, looks like the 30th April or first May if you're going to be ready.

Took the Disco out to Dwellingup today, I had to test the Traction Control as it was inoperative from the first hour of our trip in the HC until we got to the dealer in Shepparton at the end. Anyway all worked well and it was quite impressive, should be even better with the MTR's on.

Notice that there are trees placed across the steep and difficult climb from the main road just past the entrance.........bugger :!: :!:

I was just down the shed admiring my handywork.The colour has darkened as it dried off.
You wont belive what it looks like.
Camel Trophy Yellow.

Good stuff, i like that yellow. Why not G4 orange? Not that the yellow is bad. Matt
