subscription prices?? take a moment to read this...

This is written to give all the people complaining, an understanding of what my father goes through to maintain this forum for you all! Please take a moment to read this post and reflect on the impact running this forum takes to the families of the hard working support staff on AULRO

I know there is a lot of other people who do massive amounts of work on this forum as well and to those i say a massive thank you!!!

Every morning, lunch time, night time, Christmas, birthday, fathers day, mothers day, Easter, long weekend, my father is working on this forum at some part of the day, if not many times a day. He is working on it at home in a little room with a fan blowing on him... (and it's a stinking hot room, i know cause it was my bedroom growing up as a child). He is working on it at the shop, when he is at my house for dinner... everywhere!

He was working on this forum the day he became a grandfather for the first time, second time, third and fourth times..

he has the AURLO app on every device he has to be able to make sure that the forum is running smoothly. He had a scary health issue in 2014 and would still check in on the ipad from his hospital bed.

My father created this forum for like minded crazy Landy fans like himself. He has lost lots of hair , grown grey and wrinkles during the time AULRO has been running for.. but i know one thing for sure.. he wouldn't of changed it for the world!

So to all those who are complaining about the new subscription prices.. think of it from the families side who have to share their loved one, who works on this forum every day 365 (sometimes 366) days a year to maintain it! I've missed out on a lot of time with my father on special events because of him working on this forum for you! So YOU could get the advice, support, discounts etc

Love you Pop!! We are all super proud of everything you have accomplished! Love your baby girl, Tyler,Madison and Chelsea!!

Speaking for myself, I think your Dad has done a fantastic job, he's created something pretty special and I really appreciate his efforts.

Sometimes we all need a bit of a reality check, I took so much for granted, never really thinking how much work goes into running an excellent forum such as this.
To all concerned a big thank you, I feel guilty that it took afirmative action to get me to subscribe.
    Thanks again,
    Lee

Couldn't agree more and no whinging from me. Happy to pay as I subscribed before anyway.

My son who hadn't subscribed and is not that active due to his job, had no problems when the rule came in.

I can't believe for a measly 8 bucks a quarter (minimum sub) that people are complaining.

Inc JNR, I just wish that the there were more than one "thank you" at the bottom of your OP, as I would have liked to thank you more than once.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."
